How this example works in a quote
The pricing in this example works in two levels.
Firstly we have the calculation for the setup cost of the parts which is calculated by using the hourly rate, the setup time and setup type to calculate how much setup should be charged for the operation and whether this is per individual part or spread across other parts with this process.
The selling price is then calculated by using the hourly rate, quantity and time per measure to work out how many holes are to be processed, the time to charge per hole and then this time against your hourly rate for the process. For example 1 processed hole would equate to 60 seconds of work which with the hourly rate of $60 to $1 per hole processed.
