Dealing with parts within parts

How to extract a parts that has been added to the inside of another part

Removing parts within parts is a breeze using ToolBox.

Option 1

  1. Click on the unwanted part, the part will be highlighted with a thick white line that will begin to pulse.

  2. Using the toolbar, directly above the parts window, click on the DELETE tab. (or right hand click on the mouse)

  3. Then from the dropdown select delete selected.

The unwanted part is deleted from the quote.

Option 2

  1. Click on the part, the part will be highlighted with a thick white line that will begin to pulse.

  2. Using the toolbar, directly above the parts window, click on the EXTRACT tab. (or right hand click on the mouse)

  3. Then from the dropdown select extract selected.

A popup will appear on the page, type an appropriate name for identification eg. Part ABC

The part will be added to the quote.
