Identifying open end points
ToolBox automatically identifies and shows open end points
After uploading the drawing, ToolBox will automatically detect any entities which have open endpoints. The issue can be viewed by clicking the warning icon. Some open endpoints may be acceptable for quoting purposes, if unacceptable the drawing must be corrected in a CAD program and re-uploaded to ToolBox:
To view the issue for evaluation, we recommend opening Drawing Doctor.
In the toolbar, across the top of the drawing page, there is a setting to switch the visualisation on/off, the is on by default. To turn it off, un-tick the checkbox:
To turn it on, slide it to the right:
The opening is then shown on screen:
