Personalising your organisation settings

How to customise ToolBox for your business.

Accessing organisation settings

To access your organisation settings you will need to select the hamburger menu at the top left of the ToolBox screen, select Settings, and then select one of the subheadings under "Organisation" in the settings navigation bar.

This will open the Organisation Settings page where you can make changes to your ToolBox account to personalise it to your preferences and to the needs of your business.

Default organisation settings

From the Defaults section you can:

  • Edit the organisation name for your business.

  • Specify the CAD versions and formats you would like the system to export drawings in.

  • Specify your default language and locality as an organisation.

    • Note: users within your organisation can display ToolBox in their preferred language, but will see ToolBox in the organisation language by default.

  • Specify the currency you would like to display your quotes in.

  • Choose your preferred nesting options.

Tax settings

From the Taxes section, set:

  • The tax rate that will be applied to quotes.

  • The calculation method for tax: whether it is calculated on the line total and rounded, or whether it's calculated on the subtotal and then rounded.

Quotes and documents settings

In the Quotes and Documents section:

  • Upload the logo for your company.

  • Set the quote number prefix and incrementing quote number (and the same for other documents).

  • Set of contact details or quote notes which will be used on the customer-facing quote to personalise this to you and your organisation.

  • Set the minimum price of quotes (before tax) that you will accept.

Simply enter your contact details in the text box as you would like them to appear on the formatted quote and upload your logo in the provided window to customise the quotes.

User management settings

The user management section within the organisation settings can be used to manage and add users into your ToolBox account.

NOTE: To save any changes, be sure to click the update button on the top right hand side of the page

Integration settings

The Integrations section of the organisation settings is the place to connect your ToolBox account to other systems you might use. For example, your Xero or QuickBooks accounts so that your invoicing is streamlined and in sync.
