General hosting instructions

  1. Log into your website content management system. For example, WordPress, GoDaddy or Squarespace. If you don’t have one, you will need to speak to your local IT support or website developer.

  2. Locate the specific places on your website you want to place the link to your Web Store, or create a new page if needed. Suggestions:

    1. In the header of your website, add an "Instant quote" or "Order online" menu item.

    2. On the home page of your website, add an "Instant quote" or "Order online" button that sits in the top banner, or in a new section that talks about your Web Store.

    3. Create a dedicated page for online quoting/ordering/shopping and add a button that takes customers to your Web Store.

  3. For each menu item, button, text or any other element you want your customers to click on, add a "link/URL" to them. The link to set is the "Unique store URL" value that can be found at the top of your Shop settings page in ToolBox. Just right-click and copy the value, then paste it as the link for your website elements.

  4. Save your website changes.

  5. When you view the page on your website now, clicking on those link elements (e.g. menu items or buttons) will take your customer to your Web Store.
